The Ryoshun family has two schools and a path, but the smith school is the only viable one at the moment. Eventually, we may get the Agasha family and school, assuming she doesn't go to another clan. No bushi school, though....

I'm rolling seperately for each symbol (as I feel that makes the most sense, especially given that we're basically knocking out a lot of embroidery in a short span of time).

I'm hoping I can convince the GM's to let Ninube make a Ninube Family. I've been laying groundwork by her essentially creating a task for her and her family to do even if IC she isn't thinking about her own family. She will be actively recruiting followers when she gets a chance.

This isn’t singling Ninube out anymore than anyone else, but keep in mind as has been mentioned on Discord and here, the family was one of the highest rewards from the first game. Just about any player here could make a case that they should start family X or Y, but then we end up with a setting with 30 some odd families, and that just seems unwieldy given that families are a way to help define the clans.

I am not trying to be negative, but it seems like starting a family from here on out needs to be a huge endeavor and I know everyone wants to leave a lasting mark but I am hoping we see some guidelines since this will be a big question moving forward.

At this point, I assume any new families will likely come from GM plot and, possibly, player polls, filling some of the needs the clans might have. A player created family would likely require multiple games or, more likely, an event reward. That said, I could see members of the rescue team or other notable heroes of the expedition rewarded with something significant.

If any families are given as event rewards for this game I imagine they would be Spider and offered to Spider/Unaligned rescue party members by a grateful Fu Leng.

But such things are a big 'wait and see' in the hands of the GMs (and require us succeeding and surviving first)

The object is now roughly in the form of a gauntlet or long glove. It isn't finished, but it is obvious that is the shape it will take, if it continues to be worked on. "Perhaps if he holds it throughout? Send it to him right from the start?"

I mean... dibs on The Jade Hand if they don't want it

Honestly I was surprised the Obsidian Hand hadn't come up to tempt Jin yet with this game.
