Yeah I was amused at Master Jade not knowing but no XP is no XP. He did invest in jade strike, which I justified via his connection to Kyosei, so he knows jade hurts things not of this realm but doesn't yet know about the whole 'your soul is at risk without it' part.

Hoping Hantei’s Tengoku light will be enough, since I am unsure people know about jade at all in the Stag.

Unfortunately the Ratling lectures on Shadowlands 101 are not going to cover Jade. They'll barely cover the Taint . . . as we don't suffer it so we don't waste time investigating it.

Even were he not a pacifist Jin would point out that skinning allies before entering their territory and facing an unknown enemy is a pretty bad tactical move :P
