The group feels the oppressive spirit of the area felt a little lighter, still heavily corrupted but you get the feeling that the group was successful you hear thumps around you as zombies fall and scatter the ground the red mist dissipates the guard is no where to be seen and nor is the body of the sorceress but all the zombies seem to have lost whatever spirit was animating them.
