"They're fascinating. This world has so much history we never even suspected. It seems to be some sort of nexus point. A place where all the spirit realms overlap and the barriers are thinner than elsewhere. I imagine the ruins were either a place to study it or to worship it. Though I don't know that for certain."

Jin shakes his head, "Not sure. It didn't have any writing that obviously matched the stone marker of the Five. But then the marker was designed to last through the years as a record and even then it was almost lost completely. If this was not designed in the same way perhaps they did make it."

Jin nods, "Not now that they have come to this realm. Apparently its hold gives mortality to all things - even gods." He frowns a little, "I still find it strange though that some spirits remain untouched by it and can come and go while others, like the Kami, may not."
