Tentative, hell, Nanzi is outright angling for a four-Clan alliance of Stag, Crane, Lion, and Scorpion, the Imperials and the Dragon were thick as thieves this game (and in this setting, the Dragon may well take the canon spot the Crane held of being close to the Throne), the Spider have had some friction with the Stag (although Hantei's role in rescuing Fu Leng and proving Reiko's suspicions wrong may paper that over for the time being)...
