The Brave-Warrior-of-Black-Moonset found a spot in the camp where the smell of human was less present. He walked into the empty clearing... Taking a look around and seeing no humans nearby, he crouched down and started cleaning the spaces between his toes.

Nearby, someone has built a shelter over a 4 foot tall rock.

The Brave-Warrior looked at the miniature edifice in confusion.
What have these primitives done now... Worshipping a rock because it is slightly larger than some other bits of sediment they have previously come across?
He began walking toward the crude structure...

The scent of pheromones crosses his nose while he's still a ways away, but they aren't exactly like the ones on memory sticks. It gives the same feeling, though.

He sniffs the air a bit more... it is not usual for something like that to be.
He continues to walk towards the smell.

As he gets closer, he's assaulted by the sheer volume and variety of information coming from the rock. It's faded, but even that's overwhelming.

He shook his head once in consternation at the overwhelming smell... but he was no weak pup. He knew how to keep his head on straight-straight.

The information came to him in a jumbled mess - there were scents from other species, and those were never as easy to determine with clarity as memory sticks were. Through the massive tangle of images the scents brought to mind were five figures of different silhouettes facing something much larger. There was a smell that was at the same time rotten as sweet, like a carnivorous plant drawing in flies. There was was too difficult to disentangle.
Perhaps if her were to encounter things related in the future, he might be able to parse out the rest bit by bit.

He paused and pondered on these images and smells.
Five races...
Sweet and sour flower...
He would need a Rememberer... his father’s warren might have the answers. He pulled out a rag and tried to rub it on the rock where the smell was strongest.

The impressions coming from the cloth once he's done are much more faint, but hopefully they'll do the job well enough for the sensitive nose of a Rememberer. One of the major features of his city is the memory stick library - if he can find someone who can interpret it, it's likely there.

Brave-Warrior folded the cloth and tucked it away safely.
Whatever it was seemed like a warning... he hoped it would reveal its secrets before the threat was realized...
He let out a sigh at the sight of the shack around the stone and turned to find some open real estate free of the stench of humans and rocks.
