by Canary
Two Nezumi Shaman, one silver-grey and the other a deep black, wait in the Kami's tent along with Hantei and Shinjo for the discussion to start. The Black-furred one is holding a memory stick with its eyes closed, inhaling from it. They plan to explain now what they will do with Fu Leng's name and how it can be used to close the portal.

Location: The Kami's Tent

Participants: Open

Time: Early Morning

Rules: None. This is an open roleplay thread.

by Nanzi
The Crane contingent were here, Nanzi in elegant uniform, though all three were well groomed and dressed even given the conditions. Jigutsuji was ready to take notes and Jongwun ready to look fierce even with the nightmares accosting her, though less so after smoking the herb and such.

Still the events with the Spider child, Matsu, had shaken her, something there had gotten under her skin.

by Jin
The Crippled Bone had asked Jin to assist their shamans in making their points and arguments though he likely would have attended no matter what. His understanding of their magic was limited but he hoped he grasped enough to help overcome barriers between their languages.

He hoped others had managed to overcome their nightmares as well. The last thing this meeting needed was shortened tempers and inattention.

by Jiyo Sora
Sora was present, their apocalyptic surroundings having, somewhat perversely, led him to dress his best, a fine red kimono with the Imperial Mon of the Phoenix. He had come unarmed, and Kinyôbi sat a short distance behind him, tasked with keeping a record of everything that was said or done.

He had bowed to each of the Kami as the new customs dictated, the depth just so, and then an only marginally shallower bow to each of the Nezumi. They might not understand the gesture, but that wasn't the point.

He pointedly sat close to Jin, as one with an interest in helping the Nezumi make their case.

by Shinjo Koyama
For this one, Koyama decided to be present. He kept to the background for now, however, not imposing on his wife's mandate. He had no particular feelings about the situation, and his face reflected that. However, he had in mind what had been said to him, that Shinjo was in favour of the crazy rat plans.

by Reiko
Dressed in her best black kimono, Reiko arrived at the gathering, her walking stick as always giving away her arrival. She had a smile on her face, and offered a bow to those who had arrived.

The woman at the back caught her attention, and she tilted her head studying the womans features as best she could. She looked...familiar, but Reiko wasn't sure where from. After a few moments she smiled at the woman and then moved to sit near Nanzi.

Wu was there, reviewing notes from the last session and making his own. Having seen the desolation from afar he was certain that this hole must be closed.

by Kyosei of the Isawa
Having actually heard about this meeting, unlike the last, Kyosei shows up, and takes a seat on the outer edges. In one hand is a small knife, made of bronze, and the other is carrying his large piece of jade, which he slowly whittles at while waiting for the meeting to begin.

by Seidou Satone
Satone stood near the entrance to the tent, watching carefully what is going on, paying close attention to the Nezumi, eyeing them cautiously.

by Reo
Reo positions himself behind and to the side of Reiko, looking over the group with caution. In all honesty, he doubted that he would be of any use, but he wanted Reiko to be bolstered by numbers as much as possible.

by Seidou Haruyo
Moving toward the tent with some Aid, Haruyo allowed herself to be present. Travel was hard on a woman in her condition with a tendency to stubborn independence. Yet, she persevered and remained along with the group even still. With what words might be shared at this gathering she couldn't very well allow herself not to be present as to not hear them spoken.

Black Moonset was there as well... hoping reason would win the day.

Inga stood somewhere near the tent. Her face portrayed gloom instead of her usual smile. Nights have been tough but at least she had had some sleep. Perhaps here and now they will tell of the plan or come up with one.

by Hanzou
Hanzou was there to listen and learn where he might be useful. He wasn't a follower of any Kami, yet, and held no real influence over the discussion. He had little to say. But, if any of his knowledge or talents might be useful, he'd speak up.

by Hantei Kinsen
Kinsen was there in the background, making sure the flames at the hearth would keep the stored water warm enough so they could refresh their thoughts with some tea. She listened attentively in her silence.

by Togashi Saruko
Saruko was there for the meeting, and while she was paying attention, her hands were quite preoccupied with needlework. It was hard to see the entire thing she was working on as the large white cloth was bundled up in her lap, but it seemed she was embroidering a symbol of a Ki-rin.

by Togashi Nadare
Nadare was curious to know what the Nezumi had to say. Having helped them a few days ago he came to observe, taking a seat next to Saruko. Out of respect for the nezumi culture he wore the hat they had given him.

by Seppun Chisei
It was possible that Chisei would have some understanding of the proceedings. It was even possible that he would have something to add to them. And so he was there, waiting patiently.

by Shinjo Miuna
Wow, there are so many people gathered. She saw the four most important of the group clustered together, with the others waiting and listening.

Aono took up a position closer to the Kami near the front, there were so many different faces and voices that Miuna would need help sorting through them.

Miuna knew this meeting would be important so she had wanted to be here. She took an open space next to Hanzou to sit, watching everyone carefully. They seemed on edge, but eager to start.
