So seriously, I see Doji as the classy Tiger Mom, grooming them early on to be best. Nanzi is the more affectionate but still demanding father pushing them to be the pinnacle of Crane excellence. They are better, they are Crane and they are the blood of Nanzi and Doji, they cannot settle for mediocrity.

So however that turns them out, if they become rataboos for a few years... well so be it.
