"The frrissh fire spirits won't listen to me." Hanzou shook his head.

"Strangely, though it produces a green light, it is a spell of the earth spirits."

"I've mainly been focused on younger students these past few years but if they are willing to learn I will do my best to teach."

(Of course it's up to the GMs how spell sharing will work rule wise...)

"Also, with that wound... would some ground jade help if it is put in it? I don't know, I'm wondering..."

Jin trusted in Hanzou's work but took time to inspect Kaze just in case.

"I mean it looks clean to me... no sign of disease or poison... plus, with the magical healing, you'd have to cut him open to apply it. I think it would likely do more harm than good. The discoloration could be bruising and will fade or perhaps the creature had some sort of ink it never had a chance to deploy but coats it? You said it had a tentacle so like an octopus or squid maybe...."

Jin scratches his chin with his good hand, as he ponders further, "If the touch of the realm can spread its darkness it may be that the touch of its creatures can too. But surely his held jade would do as good a job as jade in the wound. The contact is already passed and he seems no worse for the wear now that he is healed."

"Good enough! Well, I suppose all's well that ends well."
