Chisei laughed softly. "Well, perhaps. And yet, I felt rather silly in here by myself. I'm glad to have company with my stick-smelling."
He tilted his head, regarding her. "Of course, I suppose I am used to having a partner in my studies. Another person to bounce ideas off of. I suppose you don't really have that usually, hmmm?"

"Oh I've got all the people I correspond with. I bounce an idea off them and then....3-4 months later the idea bounces back. It's a bit slower, more considered."
Xia sighs slightly twirling a stick.

"Tonnes! At least...4. But it could be 5, I suspect one of them has his wife also read the message, so that really counts as 5."

Clearing his throat, he looked at Xia. "Maybe you need to find a spouse you can bounce ideas off of, eh?"

"Oh that would be great...But it might be- I mean, you have to make sure they're a good partner. And they have to think you'd be a good partner. So, it's complicated, right? I mean, your wife, that didn't just happen....at least, it probably didn't, did it?"
