The Brave-Warrior of Black Moonset walked along the ruined streets of his childhood home. There had been so many trials for his people since that dreadful day... but tomorrow... tomorrow was a day it could be put back right... tomorrow was an opportunity... or it was his Tomorrow.

He climbed atop a crumbled building to give himself a good look of the world around him.

In his moment of introspection there was one other he wished to invite into his thoughts...

He pulled out a wooden statue of a nezumi and said aloud, “T’tok tch’tch.”

A moment later it shifted to her form and he said, “Are you there my alabaster dream?”

He soon heard her voice. Ch'chit T'kkiri Ch! I'm so happy to hear from you. She sounded relieved. It hadn't been so long since he had last contacted her, but apparently she still worried. How are you? Where are you now?

He paused for a good moment as he thought about his answer, "I... I... hope we will be successful. I've been tasked by their spiritual savant to be part of the team which travels into the crater and retrieves this fallen Sky-child.."

He rubbed the head of the figure subconsciously with his thumb, "Their contentions are petty and small... They could bode disaster... but... I will choose to believe in them. There is no hope without them... and I will not forgo hope until it is no longer present."
