Heavenfall

That silence makes Umeno feel even more awkward a long moment before she takes a deep breath and lets out a deep sigh, smiling. "Baka... I'm not a very good poet, am I? Still, maybe if I practice some..." She gave herself a little rap on the head.

"It is a lovely poem. I wouldn't do better myself. I may try, though." Kinsen winks to Umeno.

"If... I get any good at it, maybe I'll add some poems into the letters I write you. I will have to learn to write better first of course..." She trailed off. Finally her smile saddened a little. "And I WILL write. Even if that is all I can do, I will never stop writing."

Kinsen shakes her head at the sudden look of sadness, and cheers up, saying, "I will expect your words with great anticipation."

Umeno gives a soft nod. "And I yours. There will always be a hole inside of me that will only be filled with your words, no matter what life has for me."
