Heavenfall

Having finished warding the camp, Haka wandered out into the jungle to investigate it further. She had heard that the trees and plants were strange, so that was interesting in itself, but she also wanted to compare it to the Forest of Dreamers back home.

After all, how often did one find themselves in a jungle?

Looking for the fabled herb, Inga tried to remember how the leaf of the plant looked like. The deformed forest was an unknown placed and trees, plants looked so different in this place. She noted the fellow Shoji. Haka? The young girl walked over the Shoji. "Hello?"

Haka turns at the voice. "Hello."

Inga looked around. "Are you alone out here?"

"Of course not." She motions to the jungle around her. "There are spiders and centipedes and some sort of large flying insect, at the very least."

"That is true. Are we ever alone?" Inga looked over her shoulder. "Looking for something in particular?"

"No, just investigating. This one has never been in a jungle before." She turns the rest of her body to face Inga. "What of the questioner? Are they seeking something?"

"Mostly herbs... I would like to make a cleansing ritual." She sighed. "This place is horrible. It doesn't look like the forest I live in."

"No?" Haka turns and pulls a leaf from a nearby tree, then frowns. "It does not feel very healthy."

"It is twisted in such odd ways." The Shoji shivered. "It smells weird... Like it is going to rain but not really rain."

Haka nods. "Yes, this one noticed that. It is a very strange place." She drops the leaf to the ground. "Does the questioner require assistance seeking these herbs? It seems like they may be scarce, given the strange nature of the jungle."

"Yes they seem scarce... and if everyone is looking for them they probably will be not found so easily. " Inga sighed. "Help is welcomed."

"This one is not very good at finding things," Haka admits, as she uses teo fingers to point to her eyes. "She wishes you good luck in your search, however."
