[LM Day 13] Experiments in Herbology

There seems to be some kind of hubbub happening around camp...Reo isn't certain what it is, but with people off making noise he feels free to keep experimenting.

Let's see if I can learn from last time.

Last time he had tried the seeds of this plant, but to no avail. This time, however, he adds the grinds the pods, now slightly dried from the days of marching, to see if there is anything of value to this part of the plant.

Last time he tried the pods and the seeds together. Dealing with the pod doesn't seem to produce anything of use. Perhaps the seeds by themselves have what he needs? They did seem to dissolve readily, but had a different viscosity than the pods are showing.

Reo dumps and washes out the pot, this time toasting the seeds before grinding them.
