"People. Their weapons and armor were strange to me, but looked really well-made. They had a faint glow to them- not like what Hantei has, it was different. But still. Clearly not of Ningen-Do."

"I'm going to look around more, try to understand what this scritch place was, what it might still be." he said. "This is something my people should know about, but I've never heard any stories of keeest anything like this."

"Me neither, but..." she paused, looking up at the strange architecture. "This doesn't seem like a place where humans have been at all. But I'll gladly help you search more, Hanzou. This is a riddle I'd like to understand more of too."

Once again focusing on the spirits of Earth, but speaking aloud that others might hear, Kyosei asked "How can we keep the rot from you best?"

"... STOP THE SPREAD BEFORE IT REACHES HERE..."

Hoping that perhaps the Earth Spirits had an idea he did not - his only idea was drastic, to say the least - he then concluded, using his last question to ask "What is the best way we can stop the spread, while saving as much as possible?"

Once he was deeper in the ruins, Hanzou would repeat the ritual he had before, offering more blood to appease the water spirits. He wondered, briefly, about the ideas he'd discussed with Agasha. He wanted to look for other ways to please the spirits. For now, he searched for anything that might help him understand the connection this place had to the other realms.

This place is definitely connected to other realms, and the connection seems to be deliberate, for lack of a better word, rather than a natural connection based in something that happened here. There are dormant spirits of other realms here, locked into the stone edifices of this place. The center of the confluence isn't here, but it's nearby.

Kyosei slumps a bit, then pulls his hands free from the stone. The dirt and pebbles drop to the ground, resting on it, but leaving the impression of his hands empty and free. He dusts his hands off on his clothes, which might suggest one of the reasons his clothes so often appear to be dusty.

"The Earth spirits say we need to close the disturbance ahead, but don't know how to do so."

"We should be too... an open portal to a realm of corruption could have devastating effects on our world," she agreed.

Jin nods, "It took a godling falling from the heavens to tear it apart. It is going to take something very powerful to close it again. Hopefully the fact that the realms are supposed to be separate will aid us in that and mean we don't need equal power. But it will still be a daunting task I'm sure."
