With victory and the game coming to a wrap, this thread is for GMs to notify and players to check on upcoming games!

I'll kick it off:

The New Winds, Part 1
A game of student life, using modified 4th edition L5R rules but lore and setting from 5th Edition.

Game Premise: Play through the character creation process by making a rank 0 character, completing dojo events to earn traits, skills, and advantages.
Character Creation: Open now! Deadline to begin game: June 21st
Game Start: June 22nd
Length: roughly 30 days
Platform: Play by Post forum
Schedule: Every 3 real life days is 1 game day
Rules: Modified Legend of the Five Rings 4th Edition
Setting: Fantasy Flight Games Legend of the Five Rings, Year 1122

Introduction:

The Ruby Champion, Agasha Sumiko, had received permission to conduct an interesting experiment. Students from all families and walks of life in the empire were invited to attend a special study at the dojo in Hirosaka, an imperial town a days march north of Otosan Uchi. The experiment was for the students to learn what Sumiko felt like were things all samurai should know, before being returned to their own dojos to complete their schools training. They would then be invited to the Topaz Championship in 1123, to test to their skills against the rest of the Empire who did not have the special training that they did, in order to truly see if the clans were teaching what is needed to be a proper samurai...

Submissions open 21 June 2020, with Day 0 beginning on 1 July and the game, proper, getting underway with Day 1 on 5 July.

Coming further down the pipe, there is a Battletech game planned as well. It will be running some time around late August, into September. It will be based upon the L5R RnK rules as a base, with rewritten skills, jobs, etc, and utilizing the Battletech Total Warfare rules for mech combat.

The game is themed around an archaeological project in the year 3039, and the mercenary company hired to provide security - the game will take place in the periphery, with a focus on easing new players into the setting and offering a variety of things for players to focus on, both in and out of a cockpit.

I'm currently porting rules and working out details, but players and a possible co-gm are encouraged to either join in on discord or reach out here for more information and updates.
