Closing the Portal Preplanning

Obviously this may all change depending on wounds, deaths, etc. But, as of the closing the wound thread we had these volunteers:

Water: Jin
Air: Hanzou
Earth: Haruyo or Kyosei
Fire: Reiko
Void: Haka (at least that's how I interpreted 'speak with the Great Emptiness')

It would be good to have some substitute option for the various elements just in case.

Haka is literally our only Ishiken in camp, I believe, and I know she is one. Girl's cast Sense Void around Phi at least once. ^_^

I think Nadare is Fire 3, Shugenja rank 1, but I'm not 100% sure.

Ryoko can maybe contribute to this if need be - if you end up with a gap in the roster. I don't have amazing dice pools, but can do air/earth decent, and fire/water as a last resort.

Fire is my second best, but it's only 5k3, though it's 6k3 if it's one of the base spells my teacher gave me.

I'll be rolling 7k4 with Void for Air.

So, I guess I try to cover Fire voiding to 6k4? Seems our best chance, unless Haruyo isn't doing Earth? Haven't heard, so not sure.

I think Haruyo was planning on Earth hence why she sat out of the wedding event.

We'll see what the rolls and requirements are but it seems that might be the best option. Seems most of our shugenja are fire deficient.

I can cover Fire if needed? Tattoo helps a lot, so there is little difference for me between Fire/Earth/Water.
