We are less than a week away from the start of the epilogue day, so it's time to think about character goals! Each character has three "goal points". Players may use their goal points to push other players' goals. This is a necessity on 4 and 5 point goals. These points can be spent as follows:
1 Point: Get married to someone low-medium level (if marrying a PC, both players must make this a goal; PCs require only one point regardless of Status); joining a Family; create an impressive work of art and/or gift it to someone; etc.
2 Points: Join a secret society, such as the Kolat; make a smaller-scale discovery, such as a new weapon, spell, armor type; set up a special facility, such as a widely-known tailor or brewery; etc.
3 Points: Form a Path for your school; create a large or elaborate piece of art or architecture that will last, such as designing a castle; discover a new technology, crop, or other discovery applicable at a large scale; found a village; etc.
4 Points: Form an Advanced School within your Clan; start setting up an Empire-spanning project, such as a series of libraries; set a sidely-adopted cultural norm; etc.
5 Points: Found a Family; found a Basic School; found a city; etc.
Any goal that directly involves a Kami or their Clan will be subject to the Kami's veto. If the GMs inform you that a Kami refuses, you may redistribute your points on other goals.

Re: Character Goals
Note: This system will be used next game, so you may bank points for use next game if you wish. You can use either a long time or lots of people to accomplish certain goals - that seems fair and reasonable to me.

Re: Character Goals
Characters with Great Destiny may sacrifice it for a 2 point discount on 4+ point goals.

Re: Character Goals
Dark Fate may be sacrificed for the same sort of discount as Great Destiny. However, the goal will end up bringing terrible darkness to the Empire.

Re: Character Goals
If you are not explicit toward those you are soliciting points from about how their points will specifically be used (on which goal if you have more than one), your goals will not be approved. This is because points represent active effort by that character for the goal you are spending their points on (or their legacy and what it will represent in the future in the case of posthumous points).
