I think I can secure my own herbs.

How adventurous do I have to be with my rolls on this? Are we in danger of not hitting the target?

So, my personal take: To ensure basic victory, we need 9 more successes. to ensure Total victory, we need eighteen and we cannot guarantee all players on the 36 person list will notice and remember to make their rolls.

9 is doable. 18 is possible.

Getting 20 raises isn't hard. But missing that 9 to get 20 raises when there's no guaranteeing we get the 27/36 successes we need when we already have 4 of 9 failures possible is a gamble.

I recommend going for base victory here. But that's my take, and I probably would have recommended that from the start. This is not an easy event.

This is still kind of new to me. I should be using raises to grab more herbs or pass meditation, right? I wanna make sure I have everything down correctly before I roll

Do Raises on collecting mushrooms count to the better tier solution?

I belive all raises count, yes. And if you're going to fail a roll for being greedy,might as well fail that one. We have herbs to spare right now.

About the raises on mushroom gathering, I'm not so sure the count in the grand total. Rules say they bring in more herbs, but also that you cannot use more than one herb per person.

Yep. I went back and checked who'd been on d9-d13 scenes, per Birb. ^.~, 36 characters. 18 needed. Currently 10 successes

I might seriously consider having Phi join that party, depending on when she gets to show up what's going on. *laughs* I have not yet appeared (even if I went ahead and did my sleepytime rolls.)

Don't forget that you can use Void Points to add +1k1 to your die rolls.

Alright as of Koyama's rolls, I am relatively sure that we have the 20 raises needed for Total Success. At this point, it's a matter of getting successful saves against the Nightmares, and the more the better.

We should be at 11 of the 18 we need for basic success.

DId you count the the three raises on Hunting in that total?

Cause I'm still not convinced they count for the grand total (as they already give 1 Free Raise to N extra characters).

Regardless, getting the 3/4 objective seems really hard, and raises are meaningless for the normal success, so better focus on just passing indeed.
