My personal interpretation is that all raise count. If others want to assue only Fear/Meditation one do, they may. However I hold pretty closely to the interpretation that our goal is to hit the magic 18 first and foremost. 27 is not an easy number to reach.

Just a Note:
We are at 13 of 21 current rolls out of around 36 participants possible.
It is nearly statistically impossible to make the Total Success at this point. Raises have no value, save in getting more herbs.

So, I would recommend just go for standard success.

Also: Regardless of whether your character succeeds the survival skill, you should be able to ask one of the others for an Herb. There's a lot available, so everyone should have one for a Free Raise on one of their rolls to give a +5.

Alright, with Nadare and Kanna, I feel reasonably confident that we have hit the 50/50 threshold, factoring in every last character who has been active from Day 9 through Day 13 for even one thread. We're at 18 successes, so that's a good thing. If we happen to hit 19, even my most negative predictions should be safely out of danger of failure.

But, if my math is wrong and others are right, there's still a remote chance of hitting the 3/4 threshold, so if you haven't taken your shot, go ahead for rolls. Might as well fight the nightmares after all. If we get enough successes, we 'might' hit that 3/4 mark. We already have plenty of raises at this point.
