Taking Smithing Requests

Crafting is time consuming. I can use one slot per day to meet the time requirement on an item, and can work on different items in different slots, but likely we are only going to be able to get 4 total days.
UNITS OF TIME REQUIRED FOR CRAFTING
Material:
Steel Zeni: - Bu: Days Koku: Weeks
Metal/Glass Zeni: Days Bu: Days Koku: Days
Other Zeni: Hours Bu: Days Koku: Days
TIME UNITS NEEDED BASED ON PRICE
Zeni Price divided by 10 in units (minimum 1)
Bu Price divided by 5 in units (minimum 1)
Koku Price divided by 3 in units (minimum 1)
DIFFICULTY OF CRAFTING ROLL Zeni Bu Koku Costs
Costs 1-10 zeni: TN 10
Costs 11-25 zeni: TN 15
Costs 26-50 zeni: TN 20
Costs 50+ zeni: TN 25+
Costs 1-10 bu: TN 15
Costs 11-20 bu: TN 20
Costs 21-50 bu: TN 25
Costs 50+ bu: TN 30+
Costs 1-10 koku: TN 20
Costs 11-20 koku: TN 25
Costs 21-25 koku: TN 30
Costs 25+ koku: TN 35
NOTE: For each increment of 5 above the final listed cost, increase the TN by 5 as well.
So, anything made of Steel is likely right out.

and
12 koku is probably the upper limit on costs, since that would take 4 days. (You can't convert stuff, if it's listed in the book as 10 bu, it uses the bu table)

I actually have a weapon I want Sora to invent as he gets dissatisfied with his dagger-axe, but that seems more of a postgame goal. But we should probably arrange an IC meeting to discuss it

If there is anyway to improve Tonfa, I'm certainly interested.
Outside that, if you want to craft some siiiick drums or something, I'd also totally take you up on it.

I don't have any craft at 7, so I can't enhance anything sadly
Im just here for basic smithing needs. I think you gotta ask the Bat folks for crazy cool stuff.

Is taking the concept of a nunchaku and applying it to a bo within your capabilities?
Ie creating the three-section staff?

Alright, better answer:
If you have an idea, bring it up in character and I have to make a roll first to see if I can design it, and then if I succeed I can start crafting it.
A three ring staff shouldn't be long time wise to make. its a TN 20 for me to discover it first though.

And there are always others available for a consult if a teamwork approach is needed/desired Satone.
Cooperative bonii in this field could be significant.

Please, if you want something, let me know now so I can plan for it thread wise! We have limited places with forges along the way. I'm guessing just 4 in game days.

And if I don't show up, there's always the next in-game day (since a maniac thrashing a polearm around would likely scare the game away...)
