Do we have a map of who owns what territory currently?

I need to figure out which kami Ryoko needs to talk to about grazing rights in the future.

I know Kakuro and Birb were working on a map for the setting, though I would say that at the moment it's probably not very firm "borders" since things are still very new?

We have some added complications, such as the Bat and Spider existing and presumably needing some land to call their own.

Plus, the Ki-Rin, by absorbing most of the Hikaru, presumably have a bit more mountain real estate than they did before.

Plus the Lion aggressive expansion I expect will be inbound any day now...

Yeah, Akodo in Shiba's empire is going to be... interesting.

Especially since, all talk of imperial unity is cute and all, but the clans are basically just bigger tribes with a lot of the same things (customs, insults, and resources) to fight about.

I had a thread in my PF about sending letters to Shinsei to cover some information sharing that didn't rally have enough time for a thread (and which would have just been me parroting another of my threads anyhow, which, while how information transfer works, isn't a terribly fun use of my time in-game)

I do this constantly.

The Bat are probably the smallest, having not gained any of the tribes. I doubt we'll take up much more room than the Badger had. In the future, however, they may need to find creative ways to expand.

I've mostly just been avoiding talking too much about the Dragon lands except for general area (northern mountains), and completely avoiding mentioned castles or fortifications.

I would assume that the great shrine to Amaterasu in what will be Kyuden Togashi has started construction?

Not like most castles and fortifications have been built yet, if Kaiu is just now hitting his groove in the Crab lands.

Yeah the most my mental image of Ki-Rin lands has been is 'presumably north of the Spine'. Plus I doubt there was much development at all since Shinjo's been focused on this mission.

Well, and Kami or no Kami, the fastest the clans can move their people right now is at a walking pace. Or an oxcart pace.

I'm actually liking all of the oddball tribes we're bumping into- especially the ones that weren't in the last game. Makes the burgeoning Empire feel bigger.
