Brave-Warrior-of-Black-Moonset walked along the streets of his home occasionally being stopped by friends, children, and a former mate or two. Today he felt comfortable for the first time in quite some time. But there was also part of him that was somewhat disturbed... for the city did not have the same vibrant feeling it once had. There were faces missing... too many. And so as he walked along the streets a feeling of purpose and anger seemed to be slowly building alongside the joy he felt.

From the other direction there walked a man with head fur so upstanding that it must have been struck by a lightning. Even so, nothing else indicated that it might have been the case, as he was neither burnt nor compromised in his gait. He looked like a warrior of the very tribal kind, brandishing weapons by carrying them on his back while having his hands in his pockets.

He was looking around with mild curiosity, observing the lives of the Nezumi like a tourist.

As Ch'chit drew near he smelled something familiar... the scent of grass wafting on the air.

He stopped and looked at the human as he drew near.

Why would he smell like Grass-Smell-Lady...? I've seen him around...

That was indeed a mystery of why he would smell like Shinjo, but one the Nezumi could solve from their own experience.

The ratling's attention was returned at some point, with raised brows. Koyama waved to check if the gaze was deliberate.

"Sure, a'm her mate. Ye hae yer mates tae, richt? Otherwis thare wouldnae be sae mony wee rat bairns running aroond here." Koyama responded casually as it seemed a pretty casual question. He had been getting this a lot across the years.

The larger Brave-Warrior-Who-Remembers looks at the spiky haired human in confusion.

What in the Crater did that thing just say... He appears to have understood my question but replied in what I can only fathom is a language suited for people even more primitive than these other savages.

"You speak-speak... Hooman speak?"

"Ye dinnae lik' th' teuchter lingo?" Koyama smirked. That also had happened many times before.

The Brave-Warrior-Who-Remembers blinked once... then twice.

Poor thing must have some sort of speech impediment...

“You safe-safe? No need helper?”
