Jin ponders it a few times, "Pep ter den... Pep tre de ne..." No, I think the clicks matter, "Pep'tra'de'n?" His mouth still trying to stick vowels where they don't belong.

"Pep'tr'd'n," he explained patiently. "You make extra sound, no need."

[Jin]

A few more tries, the last few switches between clicks and letters being rough to adapt to, but eventually his keen mind can at least repeat what he heard if not understand it, "Pep'tr'd'n. Thank you. I shall share tales of the great smith and hopefully send a student to them in the future. Thank you for your assistance."

[Canary]

"Yes-yes. Human make good-good sound," the apprentice nodded. "We talk-talk later maybe."

[Jin]

Jin nods, "Thank you. I would enjoy that if I make it back here. Thank you again for your time."
