[Day 7 - LA] Maul Rats

[Nanzi]

Nanzi had tea prepared by Jigutsuji as he waited for his guest. He did enjoy the time he spent with Akodo speaking of this Bushido and what was expected of a samurai under this still growing code. It would be good to speak with one that studied under the tactical Lion.

[Makime Mineko]

Makime Mineko was punctual as ever. She announced herself in her perfect, polite military tone.

"Good afternoon. I am Makime Mineko, reporting to your invitation." she bowed deeply.

[Nanzi]

Nanzi rose and bowed and said, "Makime-san, Nanzi is honored by your arrival. I have always thought fondly of Akodo-ue, we have had many an interesting conversation."

"Join me for some tea?"

[Makime Mineko]

"Thank you. That is most kind." she joined him as requested.

"You've met with Akodo-kami?"

[Nanzi]

"Thank you. That is most kind." she joined him as requested.

"You've met with Akodo-kami?"

“Several times, he is my brother by oath, it would be unseemly otherwise,” Nanzi replied warmly.

[Makime Mineko]

"I have been a most devout follower of him. I have so much to learn and I am thankful for his guidance. Have you had the opportunity to study strategy with Akodo-no-Kami?"

[Nanzi]

"Not so deeply but we have spoken on his ideas of what a samurai should be," Nanzi replied.

"Nanzi hopes to learn more from Akodo-ue."

[Makime Mineko]

"His insights on what a samurai should be are most inspiring. It is my hope to be a shining example of his teachings."

[Nanzi]

"The Crane and Stag agree, if only such wisdom was universal," he said wistfully.
