Heavenfall

Inga nodded. "I guess I can go over to river and get the ritual ready." She nodded "All the elements would be there for the cleanse."

"Anything I can do to help?"

"I might need something to get the stone out of the fire. I cannot put the fire out with the stone still inside." She wondered what she could use besides her knife.

"I've got a hatchet. I can push the stone on to the flat of the blade with a stick," he suggests. "That should work."

"Perfect... thank you" She smiled as she prepared the stone for its purification. "I hope you don't mind the prayers."

"Go for it. It's something I don't know about, not something I don't care about. We had our prayers in my tribe too," he says with a nod.

Inga became a bit somber as she started a small fire. She started her ritual to cleanse the stone. She said her prayers. When the prayer was done she motioned Taochusu to move the stone.

Taking out his hatchet and a stick, he slides the rock onto the flat of the blade and lifts it out of the fire. He holds it there for Inga to take care of anything she needs to do to purify it.

She continued her ritual with some dirt since the sand was not available. It represented the earth element and so the prayers for that particular element that gave it time to cool the stone. She picked it up and poured some of the water she had in her water skin. She cleaned it as she prayed. Finally she blew on the stone as she whispered her prayers.

"We are done." Inga smiled. "This will do nicely."

"Alright," he says with a nod, tucking away the hatchet. "So now you can use it for figuring out the future?"

"Yep... it is now blessed and ready for the future." Inga placed the stone on her pouch. "Perhaps one day you would like me to tell you your fortune... but right now... I think we should get some lunch."

"Sounds good," he replies with a nod. "I'm feeling a bit hungry, though that's normal for me to always feel a little hungry." He starts back towards the camp with Inga.
