[Day 3 Late Afternoon] Raiding the Castle....Tower

[Seidou Satone]

Satone drops her voice to a whisper to Haruyo.

"What do you think? "

[Seidou Haruyo]

"Curious," she replied. "Much like the reason for why we are here. Sating this curiosity will come at another time, I think. You.. handled yourself well. Best to be cautious, so far from home already."

[Seidou Satone]

"Are you fine with being left alone with this man, or would you prefer I ask Ren to go first, Hanzou second, and I last?"

[Hanzou]

"sscreeeeiiiiit there's rope up there. I don't think there's any other way up shet" he frowned. "Unless we can knock it down, craaiiis we'll ha e to get one of us up there."

[Reo]

"Huh...does one of you have a fishing line or yarn? I think I could hit the rope with one of these."

Reo pulls out an arrow with a carved stone head that looks as if it is meant to sink into flesh and not come out.

"Then maybe tug it down." Reo looks over to the woman with cloth over her eyes and understanding forms. "Or a kami can shake it down"

[Seidou Haruyo]

"I will be fine," she said to Satone, a hand to the other woman's shoulder and a brief smile. Shifting her weight on Satones shoulder, moving to be more appropriately toward the rest of the group. Haruyo listened for positioning and then directing her voice toward Reo said, "A grand display such as that would best be left to more important matters with little other options. Do you not agree?"

[Hanzou]

"A gust of wind might kreech shake it loose, but I woudn't want to damage the platform." Hanzou said. "Unfortanately, I sniiick fish with a net."

[Reo]

"Hmm. Have to make do then." Reo reaches into his pack and pulls out a wide brimmed straw hat. He pulls at the pieces, scattering the bunch and then sits, his fingers pulling at the straw in an effort to make a long strand of twine.

[Canary]

"Hmm. Have to make do then." Reo reaches into his pack and pulls out a wide brimmed straw hat. He pulls at the pieces, scattering the bunch and then sits, his fingers pulling at the straw in an effort to make a long strand of twine.

He soon ends with a string of twine and much less hat.

[Reo]

Reo ties off the newly made length of twine on one end of the arrow he had pulled out before. He pulls out his bow, looking to keep the shot in a high arc.

His breathing comes calmly as it seems the entire rest of the world is erased. There is the target, the arrow in his hand and his own self.

One of the tines of the fleshcutter arrow manages to snag firmly onto the rope and it tumbles down, revealing knots along it that will make the climb up much easier. The rope seems to be old, but high quality.

[Reo]

Reo gives a self-satisfied smile, rolling up the twine and retrieving the arrow.

"Not a bad shot, if I do say so myself. So...who is going up first?"

[Seidou Satone]

“Good job!”

Satone puffs out her lips and raises her eyebrows in an expression of being impressed.

“How about you first, then Hanzou, Haruyo, and Ill be last?”

[Reo]

"Me?" Reo gives the group a bit of a side eye. He wasn't typically the one known for being the most physical but the chance to be up first was rather appealing.

"Alright then." Reo clambers up the rope

[Hanzou]

Hanzou waits and watches, holding the rope to help steady it. Soon, he climbs it himself.

[Seidou Satone]

Satone guides Haruyo over to the rope.

"I'll be right behind you"

She says, putting the rope into the blind womans hand.

[Seidou Haruyo]

"If.." she takes a moment, exhales. "If that is what you feel is best," she says, taking a firm hold of the rope and slowly, carefully, making her way up the rope. Aided, surely, by Satone's guidance. Once at the top she reaches a hand out, seeking greater assistance from one of those yet above that they might pull her up and in near the top and complete the short journey.

[Seidou Satone]

Right before she begins her climb, Satone whispers to Haruyo

"You can do this, just extend your senses to your feelings. Focus on grabbing the rope firmly, and then pull yourelf up. Ill set the rope between your feet, which once you pull up, you bend your knees and raise the feet, then put pressure on the rope with your feet to use your legs to lift you up, reaching up after to grab higher on the rope. Take it slow, and once you reach the top, they will help you. Ill keep the rope from swaying as you climb. You can do this. You are strong, Haruyo."

[Reo]

Reo reaches the top and looks around to see what is up at the top of the tower.

[Canary]

At the top they find a carved wooden box with a metal latch and hinges.
