"I see... but I feel like you can't hone it, can you?"

She frowned. "I admit, I've never really messed with knives... had an axe for big things, and hands for small ones."

"Thus the edge that will be toothed. Though the teeth can't be sharpened they will do excess damage to an enemy."

"Oh, true."

She sighed. "I was thinking about... cooking. I guess my mind wasn't in the same space."

"Cooking is great fun. I do worry about the quality of our food the deeper in we get."

"I mean, the vegetation certainly looks gross, but I guess you have to put up with poor flavors when in such barren land."

Ryoko poked at the sickly grasses, and added, "I suppose it could be worse. There could be no food at all."

"Not sure any fish in the swamp would be too edible, looking at the state of the weeds. Probably small and bony."

"True... I hope they packed enough."

Ryoko didn't comment about her own preparations, or lack of.

"Still, I should get going... I'll let you know how this..."

She trailed off. "Whatever you want to call it, this stick. How it works."
