The Brave-Warrior-of-Black-Moonset gave something of a scoff as the ink was presented.

What a primitive form of record keeping... An entirely visual presentation... no means of providing scent knowledge for greater understanding of the proper places to avoid pain. And you have to soil your fingertips in the process... So crude.

He dipped his finger in the ink and began making scribbles at different points in the suggested path showing where there would be obstacles they weren't fully aware of.

After finishing he took the corner of the map and wrapped it around his finger to wipe it off.

"Path always change-change... Enemy set ambushes. No careful, fall into trap. Have to change path if too much pain-present."
