Heavenfall

There was a moment of genuine panic inside Umeno as she tried to work through what she was supposed to do, but she didn't let it show on her face. "I... I would be honored, but surely there are others more deserving than I for such a meaningful gift."

"None that had the courage to say it so to me." Kinsen smirks and extends her arms just a little bit further, "Please, accept this gift. And, if you would like, make a promise to yourself, tiying it up to your neck."

Whether that was the right amount or not, Umeno couldn't say no another time. She gave an awkward seated bow, murmured her thanks softly, and took the ribbon. There's another moment's hesitation before she reaches up and ties it carefully around her pale neck, flushing a bit as she finishes.
