Hopefully, Mai will get to meet you in Dawn 3. She kept hearing about this great woodcarver and never got a chance to interact with him.

More honestly, there was a thread where Kaze made a couple of comments that seemed suggestive; I took a chance, and they were, and t seems to have worked!

I am so happy that Dawei and Kaze found eachother! Dawei seemed like such a hurt person in Dawn 1, seeing him happy was very wholesome to read. <3
How does Dawei feel about the Stag now that it's coming more into shape, especially with his lord's wife being a former Noriaki?

Kinsen was as hurt by the Noriaki, so her becoming the Lady Hantei was not really an issue for Dawei. That she studies under him helps, too.
As far as the antagonism, well, it will depend on how Hantei and Hisomu proceed. But it won't likely help, even if Dawei might avoid direct effect.
He did go into hell for Hisomu, after all.
