I did open my bottle of wine but I still have some.

Reo isn't a bad cook, and could make an archway.

Reo lets out a small annoyed hiss and looks down at his leg.

"I thought as much." He heads back over to Reiko. "I'm there for whatever part you need me for." His eyes drift back over to where Ninube waits for an answer.

Reo steps up to Shinsei, mostly out of curiosity, but looks back to Reiko.

"I would be happy to join you wise man, if you'll take me, but I believe Madam Reiko has first claim on me."

"What about those of us who cannot speak to the kami? What is our role? Guarding them so they can work? Trying to stop anything else trying to get out?"

Reo has chosen to stay as well, looking decidedly uncomfortable, but stoic.

I didn't come all this way to be left out at the very end.

Reo positions himself behind and to the side of Reiko, looking over the group with caution. In all honesty, he doubted that he would be of any use, but he wanted Reiko to be bolstered by numbers as much as possible.

"Well, she's be talking about a wife. Or a lover." Reo starts to sputter. "Not that I wouldn't be glad if you were, because you're clever and have vision, and I mean I think I let slip that you're really, really pretty."

Reo's mouth slams shut, and he realizes that the pair of them are blushing.

"Hmmm. We better keep an eye out. Old Man Yama tried to beat the piss out of that thing for threatening his daughter. You can't ask the spirits or anything? Maybe trace it from Shinsei?"

"Huh. So it is something done to you." Reo seems to think. "How do you find this "creator"? It would not do to kill the wrong person."

"Yeah, he's a lot more faliable than I thought considering the reputation. But what is it and how do we kill it?" Reo's face is dead set, until a look of dawning comprehension takes over. "I didn't see it... just by rumors. It was the thing that looked like Shinsei and they practically tore down a dozen tents to find it, so I hear. I also hear that it touched Jade to no effect, so it's not a shadowland thing."

"Then it is you I seek." Reo nods, seemingly to himself. "I have heard of the recent incursion of a spirit. I hope to learn of these peculiar dangers that we encounter.
