I enjoyed Nanzi quite a lot, and I'm sorry we didn't really get any threads in which Ryoko could horrify him.
That said, will he be ok with Ogres involved in the Imperial household, or will that be another wedge in inter-clan relations?

Re: Musical Horns, Ongaku no Ryoko
I was surprised with all your description of the horns, that no one else mentioned they reacted to her powers. I know - I was waiting for literally anyone to point out her horns were changing color. Any questions, I'm happy to try and answer, though some things may be sekrit, depending on if ...

Re: Worst. Kolat. Ever. Jiyo Sora Q& A
Very much enjoyed threads with Sora, what made him so receptive to the plight of the Takemori tribe's horned emissary?

Was there any particular catalyst for his interest in Ryoko, was it a thing you expected, or did it surprise you?

Re: The Protective Hammer: Satone Q&A
What does Satone want to do in the future? Like, apart from Haruyo - did she find any goals of her own to chase?

Re: There and Back Again: A Birb's Tale (GM Canary Q&A)
Heh, yeah, Ogres are a bit funky. L5R lore doesn't always make sense. Still, I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed having the chance to portray them as more than gigantic brutes - I would assume they were a bit of a natural evolution of the five races, but Ningen-do was like 'ehhhh, I think I'll go with human...

Re: Musical Horns, Ongaku no Ryoko
Something else. Basically ogres on lore have a unique form of magic that isn't fleshed out *at all* in the books, so I was working with GM team to expand on that. As they are elemental creatures, it made sense for it to be a natural/instinctive sort of thing that she woke up through encountering anc...

If anyone has any loose ends they want to wrap up with Ryoko, she's available for all of D24.

Re: There and Back Again: A Birb's Tale (GM Canary Q&A)
To what extent did we surprise you with fixating on red herrings, maguffins, and asking for intricate details about obscure L5R lore bits such as ogres, nezumi, etc.
How much did we surprise you by fixating on the darn rock?

Re: Questions & Screeches with Hanzou
Was the screech a result of a disad?
Also, was it meant to be very high pitched? Because I envisioned it very high pitched.

Re: OOC Chat
I enjoyed the work of the GM team and many of those I RP'd with. So thanks for the game and I look forward to seeing the progression through Dawn 3. Any negative points are entirely unrelated to the GM team, so I'm excited to see the future for birbiverse.

Re: In the shadow of the Mountain (D16, EN, closed)
"I've got a strong grip.... I can keep up with her for now." Ryoko laughed. "Doubt I will for long though..." Pulling away just far enough to walk, she guided him in to the tent, so he could sit and rest. Once he had sat, she slid down next to him, leaning against his side and adding, "She's going t...

Re: In the shadow of the Mountain (D16, EN, closed)
She blushed, but did not look away. "I'm glad that I could... be a beacon. I felt so helpless, I'm glad you made it. Matsu will be so glad to see you. I had to hold her back from rushing into battle. She's fierce, and no mistake." Ryoko chuckled weakly, and gave him another squeeze. "It feels unreal...

Re: In the shadow of the Mountain (D16, EN, closed)
Ryoko saw him, and seemed frozen for the longest time, but then came to her feet. Seeming to come undone, all at once, she felt the fear leaching away, and she simply rushed forward, hugging him, resting her face against his chest, her horns coming up a few inches short of his chin. Still, for a sma...

In the shadow of the Mountain (D16, EN, closed)
In the darkness of the camp, Ryoko waited. She'd had to hold Matsu back from joining the line of battle... quite literally. The girl had been so adamant that she was going to go fight that Ryoko had been forced to put her in a headlock, holding her down until she could convince her that her father h...

I now wish I could have all the ogres wear suits and little tiny spectacles that they peer over as they do paperwork.
