Taochusu joined in the watch, patrolling around the camp and making sure nothing was trying to sneak in. He stood at the edge of light of the fire Miyako sat near.

The big guy had no real input on the earlier discussion, but of this one, he was willing to offer his help. He didn't know a lot about all that mystical stuff but if they needed muscle and a hammer he could be useful.

When the acid rain started, the initial sting hit Taochusu suddenly. But before it could do any real harm he crawled under the wagon. "Damn. Waste of good stew. Can't imagine it'll be edible after this stuff gets in it," he says, to himself as he looks around at anyone else that might need to crawl ...
