Heavenfall

The location of the Nezumi governor and the focus of diplomacy and keeping the city functioning. Things are hectic and challenging right now, with the Ratlings running every which way and talking frequently as they try and keep things together.

Farther away, a path of dry land leads to a part of the swamp deeper in the mist, where it gathers into a dense fog. Occasionally, something moving might be seen in the mists… or it might be a trick of the light.

The land surrounding the camp, if one can call it that. It is largely misty, wet, and traversing it is likely to cover you in mud. Hopefully some scouting might reveal an obvious route to take the group through a relatively dry area.

Upstream in the direction you came, the stream narrows back to its small and clear identity, relatively safe to gather water and drink from.

The positive aspect of a swamp nearby is the sheer volume and variety of plants and animals available. Hunting/Perception checks for gathering food receive a Free Raise in this location.

A creek flows down from the mountains not far from the camp. The waters are clear and sparkle in the dappled sunbeams that emerge through the foliage above. It’s far smaller and less violent than the Seigo on the other side of the mountain.

The woods immediately surrounding the camp. The trees around here are tall and largely deciduous. The warm late spring weather has them bursting with bright green color. Many are easy enough to climb, allowing a good view of the surrounding forest canopy.

About a half mile away is a clearing. There is an odd feeling to the area, though not the oppressive feeling like one gets looking to the south. Bushes and greenery grow tall here, and in the middle is a worn stone marker, like a gravestone.

Not far away from the camp is a platform with railings built halfway up a tree, clearly some sort of observation outpost. There’s no clear sign how the former owners of the structure got up to it.
